Senior Financial Controller, Stellenbosch

We are looking for a mature-in-age character; that category of Financial Controller who understands the impending discrimination in the general workplace due to the eventual approach of retirement, but who has no intention of slowing down.  

This exceptionally upmarket small group of companies requires an OLD SCHOOL savvy brain who understands figures before they understood accounting program input.

• The type of person who runs an eye down a column of figures and picks up an anomaly
• A head for figures, logical and savvy, fastidious
• A person who can improve the existing processes
• Not prone to office banter or politics
• Someone able to mirror the thinking of the Directors
• Accuracy, indelicate when finding errors, honest, a distrustful sergeant major
• Financial monitoring of departments
• A strong character who takes ownership of the situation, and does not entertain petty sensitivities.

Must reside in, or within easy travelling distance of Stellenbosch.
